Description
RED BRICKS AND GREEN FIELDS is an illustrated account of how the railways brought an industrial town to a rural part of North Bucks. This is mainly an architectural essay, describing the houses and streets which came to define the new town of Wolverton and its satellite at New Bradwell. There is also a chapter on the expansion of Stony Stratford at the Wolverton End.
