Description
The redbrick town, with neat terraces and streets laid on a grid pattern, was new to rural North Bucks in 1840. 100 years later the railway town of Wolverton, the satellite town of New Bradwell and the Wolverton End of Stony Stratford were largely com-plete. It was a revolution. This book, extensively illustrated by Faye Lloyd’s drawings, describes that first century of growth.
